Vagamon is a hill station located near the Kottayam- Idukki border of Kerala. Orchid Garden (Distance - 4 kms)
The 15 hectare garden of Orchids is located at Kolahalamedu in Vagamon. From Vagamon, take the Elappara route and you'll reach the spot that already calls for attention with its mesmerising beauty.
Suicide Point (Distance - 5 kms)
Vagamon also prides in having a suicide point. It is a gorge which is V-shaped and one of the beautiful tourist spot in Vagamon. From this place, you can see the deep-seated valley below. The sight is full of awe. The depth of the valley appears like an abyss.
Vagamon Meadows (Distance - 3.5 kms)
The rolling green meadows of Vagamon has a lake amidst them. It has for long been a favourite location for shooting movie songs.

Thangal Para (Distance - 5 kms)
Thangalpara is a rocky landscape accessible only by foot adjacent to Vagamon . Murugan Mala (Distance - 2.5 kms)
Muruganmala located on the eastern side of Kurisumala Hill in Vagamon. The hill is adorned with the temple of Lord Murugan, erected using a single rock. An example of rock-cut temple architecture of India, this temple is flocked by devotees from all over the country, every year. The deity of the temple, Lord Murugan, is known to be the son of Lord Shiva.
Tea Plantations (Distance - 0.2 kms)

Paragliding (Distance - 4.5 kms)
During February every year Kerala Tourism under the aegis of Kerala Adventure Tourism promotion society is conducting International Paragliding Carnival at Vagamon, The festival is in association with Fly Vagamon club, Vagamon destination management committee and Paragliding Association of India. Over 50 national and international paragliding pilots attended in the last edition of the event. Visitors also have the option to go for a joyride with expert pilots and really become a part of the event. The championship will be held in two main categories — cross country and spot landing.
